Towmate Built Rugged is a brand of ATE (UK) Limited a family business that started in 1995, supplying trailer parts and spares to key industries such as councils, plant hire, and utilities.
After almost 26 years, ATE now caters for an even wider range of industries such as landscaping, agriculture, machinery dealers, and builders.
We've taken the time to really listen and understand what our customers want and need. That's why when we expanded into manufacturing our own trailers in 2015, our in-house Research and Development team spent years researching and designing trailers to reduce your downtime and increase effiecny on -site.
On February 11th, from Towmate Built Rugged launched the Ram TXGD general duty trailers, built to get the job done. This is our second virtual launch in the range. The trailer sports a tough galvanised steel frame, symbolising the durability and versatility that our existing customers have come to expect from Towmate Built Rugged trailers.
With the Ram TXGD, we've aimed to raise the standard with a smooth towing experience, 5-stud configuration with SFL bearing for durability and ease of maintenance, integrated side steps, 2.5T rated lashing points, efficient LED dual voltage lighting and bespoke welded steel construction along with a 3-year warranty as standard.
We've included some brand new innovations unique to Towmate®, including the pivot axle damage and ensuring your axles are never overloaded. This system ensure that all four wheels always maintain contact with the road surface.
Also included are our unique hinged mesh sides, completely removable and providing easy access via the sides of the trailer. This was designed by our R&D team, each panel securing and latching to a robust centre post that is in addition engineered for a quieter ride.
With a choice of three different lengths; 8, 10, or 12 foot, three different widths; 4, 5, or 6 foot and a range of weight capacitities avialble, there's a general purpose trailer for any requirement.
