BUCS and SIS Pitches announce three-year partnership extension

BUCS is thrilled to announce a three-year partnership extension with synthetic, hybrid and natural pitch experts SIS Pitches, increasing the number of pitches across higher education institutions nationwide.

The partnership, originally launched in 2021, centred around joint projects, including webinars as well as connections with member institutions looking to upgrade their sport facilities.

Internationally recognised leader in sport pitches, SIS Pitches works with the biggest names in sport, including many leading sports clubs, institutions and elite sporting tournaments around the globe. This includes:

  • Sheffield Hallam University
  • University of Brighton

  • University of Nottingham
  • University of Portsmouth
  • University of York

Years of domestic and international experience means SIS Pitches can supply the right pitch for the right budget, from International sporting events, professional and amateur sports clubs to Universities and Colleges. The company works across a wide range of different sports, such as hockey, football, rugby, tennis and athletics.

Football, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Lacrosse, Hockey, Athletics, Tennis, Padel, Golf…all sports are covered and SIS can deliver. Seeing huge growth within the higher education sector with some of the biggest sporting institutions, SIS Pitches has made its mark in the UK university sporting scene.

Moving forward, the SIS Pitches team will be attending BUCS events sharing their innovations and sector knowledge to support the sporting ambitions of those currently in higher education.

SIS Pitches is part of multiple frameworks and agreements to provide the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of sports facilities. The company regularly completes work in collaboration with the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Football Association (FA), Sport England, and England Hockey and Football Foundation (FF) capital investment programmes.
