Hayter unveils upgraded Harrier Pro

Hayter, a leader in British lawn care for over 75 years, proudly announces the launch of the upgraded Harrier Pro variants.

These new models are designed to meet the evolving demands of professional landscapers, offering enhanced performance and reliability in challenging conditions.

Key features of the Harrier Pro variants:

  • New 3-Speed Transmission (Harrier 56 Pro): Adapt the mower's speed to match grass and weather conditions, ensuring improved collection in wet environments and maximized productivity in dry ones.
  • Improved Grass Bag Design: A lighter sail material makes it easier to see when the bag is full, preventing overfilling and chute blockages.
  • Updated Roller and Drive System: Enhanced traction on wet or short grass ensures efficiency and precision.
  • The newly designed rear roller frame prevents debris build-up, reducing strain and potential damage to components.

The upgraded Harrier Pro variants are built to tackle the modern challenges faced by professional landscapers. With longer timeframes between cuts and the need to operate in less-than-ideal conditions, these mowers are engineered to perform reliably under pressure. The enhancements ensure that landscapers can maintain high standards of lawn care, even when dealing with long, sticky grass and muddy grounds.

“Our goal is to provide landscapers with tools that not only meet but exceed their expectations,” says Chris Cooper, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Hayter. “The upgraded Toro U.K. Limited Harrier Pro range is a testament to our commitment to innovation and quality, ensuring that professionals can achieve outstanding results regardless of the conditions they face.”

The Harrier’s reputation as a professional-grade mower dates back to its launch in 1970. Celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2025, the Harrier continues to set the standard for precision, durability, and the perfect striped finish.

With every upgrade, Hayter honours this legacy while embracing the future of landscaping technology.

The Harrier Pro variants feature a newly designed rear roller frame with a larger spaced frame to prevent debris build-up, which can cause the roller to jam and add excess strain and damage to the gearbox and other components.

Coupled with sealed roller drive pin and cam assemblies, which prevent debris from entering the roller mechanism, the new Harrier Pro rear roller is built to tackle even the toughest jobs.

Hayter’s commitment to quality and reliability is evident in every aspect of the Harrier Pro variants. From the improved grass bag design to the updated roller and drive system, these mowers are engineered to deliver exceptional performance and durability.

Landscapers can trust the Harrier Pro range to meet their needs, no matter the conditions.
