BASIS is delighted to announce its first-ever appearance at GroundsFest 2025, taking place on 9–10 September at NAEC Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth.
As the UK’s largest free-to-attend event for grounds staff, greenkeepers, landscapers, garden designers, local authorities, estate managers and contractors, GroundsFest provides a unique platform for professionals across the industry to connect, learn and discover the latest innovations.
CEO, Corrina Urquhart, will be speaking on the opening day of GroundsFest at 13:00 on the Lantra Stage, Hall 1. Her session, “Supporting the People Behind Our Green Spaces”, will focus on how BASIS is committed to supporting and developing those who care for the UK’s green spaces through training, education and professional support.
This year, BASIS will be bringing its popular Knowledge Trail to GroundsFest for the first time, an interactive initiative designed to encourage learning and networking. Attendees will have the chance to discover a variety of topics, gain valuable insights and, importantly, collect BASIS CPD points as they progress along the trail.
Visitors to the BASIS stand will also be able to find out more about our Assured Schemes, which continue to play an essential role in promoting best practice in pesticide use, environmental stewardship and sustainability across the amenity sector. These schemes not only help contractors and organisations achieve excellence but also provide recognition under the highly respected Amenity Standard.
In addition, BASIS will be showcasing a range of training opportunities, both online and in person, including our Principles of Sustainable Amenity Management online series. These courses address the evolving challenges of modern turf and landscape management, with a focus on biodiversity, pollution prevention and integrated approaches to care. Participants who complete the courses earn valuable CPD points while enhancing their professional expertise.
