Since 1990, Groundsman Industries have been developing a unique range of grass maintenance machines and accessories for maximum performance and durability.
Groundsman two and four-wheel drive turf sod cutters deliver effortless sod cutting with very low operator Hand Arm Vibration levels.
The blade drive is provided by a single heavy-duty connecting rod with twin counter balance flywheels which minimise the vibration emissions at source for smooth operation and durability.
Large diameter ground-drive wheels provide excellent traction in all conditions. The twin axle four wheel drive models with rear blade position enable them to cut pristine turf very accurately even on rolling terrane as well as accommodating Trench, De-compaction and Mole-drain Blades to cut down to 15cm deep. The versatile TMC range of machines can be fitted with Sod Blades 30cm to 60cm wide to cut 1cm to 7.5cm thick sod or Serrated Sod Blades for cutting courser grasses, scrub or heather. Revetting Blades are available to cut two and three strips of turf in one pass for sod walling or bunker building. A Guillotine attachment can be fitted on the TMC48 model to measure and chop the sod into lengths for re-use or sale by turf nurseries and sod farms.
Turf Aerators
Two Groundsman Tractor Mounting Aerators with 120cm and 180cm operating widths are available and two pedestrian models with 45cm 60cm working widths. All use Groundsman’s proven rugged Elliptical Plunge Action sealed bearing box-arm mechanism which is driven by a 10cm diameter hub crank. The tine movement is proportionally horizontal as well as vertical plunge action for aeration down to 15cm deep with minimal surface disruption. A vee-spigot Tine Holder mounting system enables quick-switch between Twin, Triple, Quad or Quint Holders which can be fitted with Solid, Chisel, Hollow Tubular or Side-discharge Tines. Groundsman one piece Cluster Tine Heads provide dense pattern shallow aeration to puncture sealed surfaces with needle tines or thatch removal and seed-bed preparation with micro hollow-tines.
Core Collectors
The Flexblade Collector is available from 0.8mtr to 2.3mtr widths to fit many makes of aerators as well as Groundsman to Core and Collect in one pass. The collectors can also be independently mounted to a Three Point Linkage for Follow-up Collection of Cores or Linear Aeration Soil. This incredibly efficient implement follows the contours of Greens with precision scooping the aeration soil cleanly from the surface powder dry or soaking wet.
