Husqvarna is expanding its commercial lineup with Automower 540 EPOS – a next-generation robotic mower developed for landscapers, municipalities, and in-house grounds crews.
Designed for facilities such as office parks, hotels, and university campuses, this model brings together reliable wire-free installation, consistent cutting results and remote control and supervision.

With wire-free EPOS navigation, 50% slope handling, and the Fleet management system, Husqvarna Automower 540 EPOS is engineered to increase uptime, reduce maintenance disruptions, and adapt to varied green space conditions.
Oscar Holmberg, Product Manager at Husqvarna, said: “We designed Automower 540 EPOS to support professionals in delivering consistent results with less disruption and downtime. It’s a flexible and reliable solution for efficient and thorough maintenance of areas of up to 8,000 m2 – and it’s built to grow with innovations like vision technology-based object avoidance.”
Husqvarna is now also introducing the innovative new AI vision technology accessory available for Automower 540 EPOS, 560 EPOS, 580 EPOS and 580L EPOS models.

For decades, Husqvarna has been leading the way in robotic lawn care. Now, we’re rewriting the rules with AI vision technology, enabling our new robotic mowers to see and understand their surroundings. Top features and benefits include AI object identification that enables a smooth operation by handling objects in an intelligent way. Built-in IR light makes objects visible around the clock, enabling intuitive operation also at nighttime. All in all, these features are designed to enable users to now enjoy both increased uptime and reliability.
In connection with the new product and accessory launches, Husqvarna is now also presenting two new ways to communicate correction data for the wire-free models in the line-up.
First, the convenient EPOS technology via Husqvarna Cloud solution gives full flexibility in operation and does not limit the user to the local reference station’s coverage as long as the mower is covered by a cellular network on the site.
Second, the new EPOS RS 4G Reference Station provides correction data for wire-free and hassle-free mowing with only one reference station as long as the mower is covered by a cellular network on the site, i.e. there is no need to install reference station repeaters.
The new 4G reference station and EPOS via Husqvarna Cloud complement each other and let the customer tailor the EPOS solution to its needs.
