The Land Trust welcomes Stanton Cross into its growing portfolio

The Land Trust is delighted to announce that Stanton Cross, a major new mixed use development of 3,650 homes created by Vistry has officially joined our national portfolio of
well managed and sustainably stewarded open spaces.

This milestone marks a significant step in the long term care and placemaking of one of Northamptonshire’s most exciting new communities.

Beginning in March 2026, Land Trust Residential Services will assume responsibility for Stanton Cross’s open spaces on a phased basis. On Friday 20 March, the first stage of this
collaboration was completed, bringing the management of key areas under Land Trust stewardship.

These valued green spaces will now be protected, maintained, and enhanced for the benefit of residents, wildlife and future generations.

Alan Carter, Chief Executive of the Land Trust, said: “We are incredibly pleased to welcome Stanton Cross into our portfolio. This partnership with Vistry at Stanton Cross reflects the very
best of what the Land Trust stands for, long term stewardship, strong collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating places where people and nature can thrive together. By working closely with the developers and the community, we’re securing a sustainable future for these green spaces and ensuring they remain welcoming, well managed and beneficial for generations to come.

"For more than 20 years, the Land Trust has delivered sustainable, financially secure management solutions for parks, woodlands, natural landscapes and community green spaces across the country. Our mission is rooted in the belief that well cared for green spaces transform lives creating healthier, happier communities while supporting nature recovery and long term environmental resilience."

Stanton Cross is a major growth project for Wellingborough, designed to bring new homes, employment opportunities, commercial spaces and vital infrastructure to the area. Situated near the railway station, the development offers excellent connectivity to London and regional hubs, making it an attractive destination for residents and businesses.
