Inclusive Play (UK) Ltd, a leading UK manufacturer of inclusive play equipment which seeks to ensure that no child, regardless of ability, is left ‘watching from the sidelines’ excluded from play, has joined Made in Britain.
Founded in Edinburgh in 2006, Inclusive Play manufactured the world's first wheelchair-accessible roundabout, enabling wheelchair users to play alongside friends, family and peers. The innovation laid the foundations for the company's mission to make playgrounds more inclusive and has now seen it join the growing community of manufacturers recognised by the Made in Britain trademark.
Inclusive Play has grown from a single workshop into an internationally recognised manufacturer of accessible and inclusive play equipment, responsible for more than a fifth of the UK's play equipment exports.
The wheelchair-accessible roundabout remains one of its best-selling products worldwide, helping create more meaningful play opportunities for the one in five who live with a disability.

Following the design and development of wheelchair-accessible roundabouts, accessible spinning bowls, controlled rocking seesaws and sensory products, Inclusive Play is continuing its commitment to accessible and inclusive playground equipment, UK-based production and positive social change.
Now, twenty years on, the company is marking its impact on people with disabilities, local employees and manufacturing communities by joining Made in Britain - a not-for-profit organisation championing British manufacturers.
