The GKB Leaf-Blower has been specifically engineered to make the task faster and easier with minimal power requirements - making the operation accessible to those running a lower horsepower compact tractor.
The GKB LB100 combines a lightweight yet robust steel construction with operating requirements of just 40hp, bringing efficiency to golf clubs, sports clubs and amenity areas running smaller compact tractors.
Its high-capacity performance enables operators to clear leaves, pine needles and other surface debris from large areas, helping to free up labour during one of the busiest maintenance periods of the year.
The durable 875mm fan is capable of producing an impressive air capacity of 380m3 per minute, with both the speed and direction of the airflow quick and simple to adjust on the move thanks to the LB100’s hydraulically-adjustable rear chute. It also features gearbox transmission, a Walterscheid freewheel PTO shaft, jockey wheels and anti-scalp roller to deliver smooth, reliable operation on undulating ground and in demanding conditions.
Engineered to the robust standards GKB are renowned for, the Leaf-Blower also features low noise levels of just 97 decibels in operation, improving operator comfort and reducing disruption to surrounding houses or members of the public.
At Eaton Golf Club in Norfolk, the LB100 has been a welcome addition to the fleet of Jay Seaman, Head Greenkeeper, who spends three months of the year clearing leaves on the mature parkland site. “It’s a solid, well-built piece of kit and, importantly, is PTO-driven so it just runs off the tractor with no need for additional fuel. It’s also incredibly simple to hitch and operate and, compared to other blowers I’ve used, the chute sits lower to the ground allowing you to blow leaves into the wind without them coming back at you.”
