Amcor has supplied its Plaswood recycled plastic boardwalk system to Hepworth Junior and Infant School in West Yorkshire, helping restore access to the school's wildlife pond and woodland learning area.
The wildlife pond and surrounding woodland form an important part of the school's curriculum and Forest School programme, providing pupils with opportunities to learn about nature, biodiversity and sustainability through hands-on outdoor learning.

The school's existing timber boardwalk, which circled the wildlife pond, had been in place for more than 25 years.
Constant exposure to wet conditions meant the structure had deteriorated over time despite ongoing repairs, creating the need for a replacement solution that could withstand the site's challenging environment.
Manufactured in the UK from at least 95% recycled plastic, a material manufactured at Amcor's Dumfries, Scotland facility from at least 95% recycled plastic.
The material incorporates post-consumer recycled rigid plastic that is made from recycled bottles and containers, waste as well as a proportion of recycled agricultural stretch films, helping transform recovered plastics into durable products for long-term infrastructure application.
