It all started thanks to a £500 loan between father and son. A
wide-eyed Frederick Henry Brundle arrived in London with a dream of
making it big – spotting a gap in the market by selling nails and
ironmongery and then sundries for the farriers’ industry. 130 years on
F.H. Brundle is still very much a family business, now owned and managed
by Michael Brundle (fifth generation).
F. H. Brundle is the
UK’s largest stockist of wrought iron components, welded wire mesh and
expanded and perforated metal available from stock for immediate
delivery. Other product ranges include stainless steel handrail
components, tube clamps and galvanised tube, industrial steel flooring
and GRP and tactile flooring. In addition to gate hardware and CAME gate
automation equipment F. H. Brundle is also one of the largest steel
sections stockholders in the UK. A few of our brands consist of
Pro-Railing®, Fortitude™, Rinato™, Marano®, Liveconfigurator™ &
Warmagrip™.
Our transport fleet has now grown to a total of
over 60 vehicles of all sizes operating across the UK, including smaller
transit vans for deliveries to customers with restricted access. Artic
lorries that can carry up to 44 tonnes, operate overnight to feed the
branches from our Midlands distribution hub, Burton-on-Trent, giving us
complete control on delivering anything from the smallest package, to
our largest steel section. Still, after many years, F.H. Brundle offers
free delivery on orders over £150.
Our in-house design team
use the latest technology to develop innovative products that make our
customer's lives easier. Our innovative sleeve fit brackets bring a new
solution to an industry problem of tackling curves and slope on
balustrades.
Our online ordering facility allows you to order
at a time to suit you and unlike many online ordering companies, we have
our friendly and dedicated regional sales team, supporting over 60
sales executives, to help with any queries over the telephone, if
