New Holland will be showcasing its expertise in ground care, sports, amenities, estates, and green space management machinery at this year’s SALTEX.
The company will profile its compact Boomer tractor models, displaying the Boomer 25 ROPS with mid-mounted mower deck and Boomer 40 CAB with front-linkage, alongside its ROPS mini excavator, from the company’s agricultural construction range, on stand (K189) at the two-day event on November 1 and 2.
The New Holland compact Boomer tractor range offers five models with power outputs ranging from 23 to 47 hp delivered by quiet, fuel-efficient three and four-cylinder engines. These compact but powerful tractors are responsive, efficient, comfortable, and built to make ground maintenance easier. All models across the range have unique features that keep the operator comfortable while saving valuable time and money.
James Emery, New Holland’s mid-range tractor product specialist in the UK and Ireland, says: “Boomer tractors are well-suited to a variety of tasks, from installation and maintenance of turf, to landscaping and hardscaping. It’s the ideal tractor for small landowners, municipalities, and contractors providing ground maintenance.”
All Boomer models have powerful electro-hydraulically engaged rear, and optional mid, PTOs capable of lifting up to 1250 kg, allowing for the use of a wide range of powered implements.
Alongside the Boomer tractors, New Holland will be showcasing its construction range, highlighting its ROPS mini crawler excavator line.
The mini crawler excavator series features seven models, with engine power ranging from 16.8 to 64.7hp and lift capacity between 1.7 to 6 tonnes. Compact dimensions are matched with high performance to maintain power and versatility when working in difficult-to-access areas.
Constant hydraulic flow means New Holland’s mini crawler excavators can power a variety of demanding attachments including soil augers, flail mowers for hedges and verges, as well as cutterbars and saws. The boom and dipper offers power arm versatility with the ability to work hydraulic shears, breakers and stump grinders.
Mick Berry, Construction Sales Manager for New Holland UK and Ireland, says: “We have consciously designed the mini crawler excavators around the operator, the cab’s slim frame pillars ensure excellent all-round visibility, with an improved view of the boom and dipper, enabling the user to work faster with confidence.”
The range is available with a choice of canopy or cab, and all variants within the mini crawler excavator range are ROPS (roll-over), TOPS (tip-over) and FOPS (falling-object compliant) to ISO standards. All models operate at low noise and vibration levels, allowing for extended work periods with no compromise to operator safety.
