Whatever the problem, Perennial is here to help. Do you professionally make or look after gardens, sports grounds, woodlands or other green spaces?
Our friendly and experienced team can help you and your family when you’re facing overwhelming challenges, an unexpected crisis or life changing event at any stage of life, including through retirement. You can receive our help by phone, in your home, online or in your local community, and it's all free and confidential.
We help people like Andy and Kelly. Andy has worked as a greenkeeper for over 16 years. He lives with his partner Kelly and two children. When Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had to take time off from work as a school cleaner. Without her income, the family were struggling to pay their bills.
Perennial helped the family with grants towards their Council Tax and rent. In addition, we worked in partnership with another charity to secure some spending money for a much needed short break for the whole family. They also received help from our Summer Holiday support scheme. Kelly is recovering well and is building her hours up to return to work.
Kelly says: “Perennial have been amazing and have helped us so much with financial support at a time that was already hard on us as a family. Without their help life would have been a lot more stressful.
Anyone thinking about contacting perennial should, they’re amazing!”
Andy says: “I’m really chuffed that there is a charity out there in my line of work as a greenkeeper in times of hardship. Perennial is a very approachable charity who couldn’t do enough for you.”

Our Director of Marketing and Fundraising Anita Bates says: “We all share a responsibility to people in horticulture and whilst you may not need us now, one of your colleagues, friends or family might. This is a chance to get together with fellow industry professionals ahead of a busy season to build relationships and find out more about Perennial so that we can continue to deliver free, confidential and tailored support to the people who need our help.”
