It’s all in the application

With grass not growing due to the dry conditions weeds, those with deep root systems in particular will take advantage of this lack of competition.

To be prepared to apply herbicides as soon as the weather breaks is important as you can hit the target weeds you are looking to control.

Using a knapsack is an ideal and economic method for controlling localised weed infestations through spot treatment.

The Rigby Taylor RT Evolution sprayer, either manual or electric, together with a sprayer nozzle package ensures the correct application of product is kept very simple.

Pressure is the biggest variable when using a knapsack so a pressure regulator is included as standard which only allows spray to be applied at a consistent 1 bar.

Also included is a selected a range of nozzles, which are all matched to the pressure regulator, so the concentration of the chemical in the tank does not have to be changed - no matter which nozzle you are using.

Rigby Taylor has also a wide range of herbicides for both selective and total weed control.
