region and probably one of the most knowledgeable in the country.
So, of course, they
are also stockist of GftK's vdw800 range from NCC Streetscape, the unique epoxy
bound sand-based Paving Joint Mortars - the state-of-the-art technology for
natural stone and quality concrete block and porcelain paving.
When they extended
their extensive Customer Display Yard, they selected GftK's vdw 850 for the
pointing.
The natural stone used
in this new area includes: Rippon – sawn and shot blasted, Kandla grey – sawn
and shot blasted and the ubiquitous trendy Porcelain.
The unique vdw 850
pointing is wet slurry applied, (so no issues with the weather at the start of
the year!), it is non-staining and really fast and secure to apply - unlike
cement and other polymer and resin mortars, plus it hardens quickly even in
damp and cool conditions, so that the areas can quickly be put back into
service and trafficked.
