Final event in MAP Live 2013 series takes place at Chepstow Racecourse
Feedback from the most recent MAP Live event at Knotty Hill Sedgefield shows just how much the regionality of the series is appreciated.

With some of the biggest brands in groundscare present – highlights included Campey in conjunction with Greenlay bringing their own brands plus Dakota,  Omarv, Raycam, Koro,  Imants and John Deere; Lloyd showing Kubota, Allett, Etesia, Great Dane, Wessex and Blec; and Fleet Line Markers running a competition to win a Kombi Spray Marking Machine.

With the final event in the 2013 series (test the best machines in groundscare) with a focus on how to gain excellent groundscare results when headcount and budget may have been slashed is taking place at Chepstow Racecourse on Wednesday, July 17.

It also offers the final chance to enter the Fleet Line Markers competition and the opportunity to hear speaker Jodie Read MSc, AIEMA, GradIOSH, Chair of the Wales Regional Committee of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI), about on the value and simplicity of ROLO, the scheme that ensures minimum H & S standards.

Clare Johnson, Director of MAP Live Ltd, said: "We are delighted to welcome Jodie to MAP Live, and appreciate the support that both the BALI and so many other key stakeholders in our industry are giving the initiative.

"With the launch of the MAP Live Innovation Awards, winners to be announced at the end of the 2014 series, the cross-industry collaboration enters its next phase".

These are in response to consistent feedback from both exhibitors and visitors to the MAP Live series of regional demo days that they would like to see innovation in the groundscare industry more widely recognised.

Nominations can cover a project, machine, technique, company or technology. You're welcome to nominate something that you've been involved in and it could also be a good opportunity for you to nominate a team member in your organisation.
