Forest of Dean Stone, the supplier of Royal Forest Pennant natural sandstone, has launched a brand new website, ahead of the Natural Stone Show in London next week.
The website features a user-friendly virtual interface with multiple galleries across the Pennant products and a variety of applications.
"Nothing beats the tactile experience of seeing and touching the stone itself, but we believe the new Forest of Dean website is the next best thing." Said Nick Horton, managing director of both Forest of Dean Stone.
"Not only does it showcase a range of our projects and applications, it is also a snapshot of the company and our values, including our strict sustainability ethos, our hydro power operations and the retention of the vibrant company history. With a gallery of images from our centenary company book, United Stone Firms Ltd, users will have the chance to see a huge range of product and application images."
Retaining the established style and feel of the brand, with a consistent theme and colours throughout, the site offers visitors an insight into the historical family company, with regular news updates, case studies and a window into the company's twitter account, @ForestPennant, featured in the dynamic sliding side menu.
"The re-launch of the site has enabled us to deliver this information in a more functional and accessible way. We believe it is much more user-friendly, coherent and logical." Nick continued.
"We have also used this opportunity to review the content, updating product specifications and project news and creating a range of pdf downloads. It is important for us to connect with our customers in the best way possible and optimising this technology provides us with a virtual shop window that is conveniently available at any time of day, anywhere in the world."
