Playdale Playgrounds Limited, one of the leading providers of children's outdoor playground equipment, has announced the appointment of Barry Leahey as Managing Director of the company.
In his new role he will be responsible for running the company and driving new business growth both in the UK and in key global markets around the world.
Barry Leahey has more than 11 years' experience in the playground industry, initially as Playdale's Sales Director with more recent responsibility for the company's drive into the export market. Barry has been successful in securing 24 global distributors for Playdale's playground equipment.
Barry said: "I am thrilled to be the new Managing Director of Playdale Playgrounds. This is a fantastic company with a great history and a very bright future. I am confident that with the business plan we have in place and the staff that I have at the company, we can continue to push forward and take the business to the next level."
In his new role as Managing Director, Barry Leahey will strive for continuous improvement in both organisational and operational excellence. He will also be looking to quickly drive new business growth for Playdale Playgrounds in the UK and international markets.
John Croasdale, who continues to oversee the business as Playdale's Chairman, says: "Barry is a remarkably talented and driven young man, with a wealth of experience in our industry and in our business.
