Existing management team Mick Claxton and Richard Clark are the new owners of sportsturf drainage specialists Shelton SDS.
The handover was completed on 3rd May 2013 and the business will now be known as Shelton Sportsturf Drainage Ltd.
The new owners said: "We are very much looking forward to taking Shelton into a new era and our focus will remain on designing and manufacturing British made, high quality drainage machinery for the sportsturf industry. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous business owners David and Eileen Shelton for their support and leadership over the years and wish them well for the future".
Other than the change of name, it is business as usual at Shelton. All members of staff have been retained; Mick and Richard will continue in their existing capacities, their expertise in the field is well known in the industry having been at the company for 15 and 13 years respectively.
The business will continue to operate from Baumber Farm and all contact details including email addresses, telephone numbers and website details will remain the same.
