StoneGrip decorative surfacing from Ennis Prismo Traffic Safety Solutions is a decorative, durable, low maintenance surface treatment which allows the transformation of urban environments, rural settings and heritage areas into attractive, prestigious landscapes.
Stonegrip is a specialist, hand applied, surface treatment, consisting of a thermosetting, modified epoxy resin binder, dressed with a decorative aggregate. A wide range of aggregates are available comprising of different colours and sizes. The binder and/or aggregate can also be pigmented.
The end result provides and attractive, well textured surface, with a high level of slip resistance.
Stonegrip has been used successfully on a wide range of projects including parks and gardens, urban regeneration products, town centre enhancements and new housing developments.
Installations include the Eden Project, Aintree Racecourse, Kirkstall Abbey and the Humber Bridge and more recently Marine Square Holyhead. This was an economic regeneration programme designed to enhance a key area of Hollyhead to attract both tourists and local visitors - 700m² of Stonegrip was laid with a dressing of 1-3mm Autumn Gold (chosen by the local residents committee).
