The Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII) is getting into the summer spirit and their board of directors have launched an opportunity for all schools who own playground equipment to apply for £1000 spending money.
The scheme has been launched online and encourages owners, or those who are responsible for, school playgrounds to apply for the chance to be drawn at random to receive the £1,000 prize to spend the maintenance and/or purchase of brand new equipment. One lucky school will also be awarded a free annual inspection by one of our RPII Registered Annual Inspectors.
RPII have the largest online database of qualified inspectors who work up and down the country making sure play equipment is inspected, maintained and safe for all who use it. The cost of an annual inspection can be as little as £150 but it's the unknown cost of maintenance and repair that can be more financially damaging.
RPII Administrator, Noel Harris says: "We wanted to be able to give something back to a local community and support schools in making sure their play equipment is properly inspected by the appropriately trained inspector for the job. We are looking forward to announcing the winner on the 6th July and working closely with them in the summer months".
