Our industry is constantly looking at ways of improving inefficiencies and making the job easier, Allett Mowers, now based in Staffordshire have recently launched a new innovative stand on tractor unit that will no doubt help groundsmen and greenkeepers carry out some daily tasks more efficiently.
The Allett Stand-on Tractor is a highly manoeuvrable versatile spreading unit powered by a Honda GX160 engine. Ballast front wheels effectively lower the centre of gravity and give improved hill holding capabilities. This machine is ideally suited to stadiums, schools/colleges, estates and golf courses etc. The extra capacity of the Standon Tractor makes it an excellent machine for larger properties and sports fields. The machine will halve spreading time for those that currently use a push spreader.

The turning force is low due to the unique design of the sulky-to-frame attachment.
The ergonomic positioning of the handlebars reduces stress on the operator.
The powertrain utilises commercial-duty components including a Honda engine and Peerless transmission.
