Stark & Greensmith joins forces with Provender Nurseries as first UK stockist for new award-winning architectural laser cut panels
Stark & Greensmith, which won the coveted “Best in Show” award at the Landscape Show for its range of laser cut architectural fence panels and garden screens for domestic and commercial use, has teamed up with Provender Nurseries at the Landscape Centre in Swanley, Kent, the respected horticultural trade wholesaler.
Stark & Greensmith, an award winning British product design studio, has installed a 12m long permanent display of its laser cut panels within Provender’s Display Glasshouse for trade and retail customers to visit, to understand the visual impact of the screens in a physical setting. The full range of Stark & Greensmith’s products is now on sale at Provender Nurseries. The partnership was announced at a recent launch attended by garden designers and landscapers who praised the products’ strong visual aesthetic. Highly respected garden designer and project manager Claire Vokins talked of the products’ “instant impact”.

The products were designed by Creative Director and Founder, Martine Le Gassick, who became frustrated with traditional and conventional fencing products because of their disappointing aesthetic qualities, short lifespan, restricted choice of designs, susceptibility to high winds and bad weather, and visible deterioration over time. Borne of that frustration, Martine designed her range of outdoor screens.
Martine Le Gassick said: “The chance to work with Provender Nurseries is a wonderful opportunity for us. Their offering to the landscape design and construction industries is excellent – we’re delighted to have our panels so prominently on display with them, and to have them as our first UK stockist.”
She added: “We wanted to create products which perform better than traditional fencing by using recycled materials where possible, which won’t rot, are maintenance free and should last 20 years. Our panels float 11cm above the ground as well, so that hedgehogs can move freely beneath them. Hedgehog numbers are in steep decline, and we wanted to respond to that serious challenge, but with a product that is also affordable, sustainable and beautiful.”
The panel range is now available to buy at Provender Nurseries, and online at the company’s web site: www.starkandgreensmith.com. In additional to the standard range, Stark & Greensmith also undertakes bespoke commissions, with current projects ranging from single panels in domestic settings, through to major commercial, leisure, hospitality and public realm commissions.
