Working in conjunction with Lewes District Council, eibe Play recently installed a dual site at Ouesdale Road near the town centre.
Project co-ordinator Christopher Bibb is delighted with the outcome, as the playspace has regenerated the area, offering play and exercise to all ages.
The design plans came to fruition in the autumn of last year and, with the installation team pulling out all the stops, eibe completed the project days before the festive break.
At a cost of just under £22,000, the two parks situated either side of the road feature an Alexander Play House, a chain-linked Train, a Spring Rocker and an ecorino Gamma unit. The Gamma in particular is packed full of play value, including sliding, climbing, balancing and swinging.
