GoLandscape to launch full scheme at RHS Wisley

BALI will be officially launching its GoLandscape initiative next month, following an extensive 16-month pilot phase which has seen the trade association kick start an enrichment programme for colleges, attend several career focused events up and down the country and recruit over 30 Ambassadors to help deliver GoLandscape’s vision.

This is in addition to collating feedback received from the wider landscaping industry and gaining crucial support from industry organisations, to help shape the future of the initiative.

The GoLandscape vision sets a clear path of promoting landscaping as a viable career option to school leavers, college students, apprentices and career changers, to help tackle the skills gap crisis threatening the industry, as well as providing support and assistance to colleges in the UK, to help train and upskill students to improve the quality and experience that is then made available to industry employers, ensuring employee longevity and satisfaction in undertaking roles within horticulture and landscaping.

The formal launch, which will recognise the official start of the initiative, is scheduled for Monday 19 March and will be held at the Hillside Events Centre at RHS Wisley.
