Weaving Machinery’s new offset flail – the Blade 260 – is touted as offering unprecedented precision and compatibility when mowing grass.
The Blade 260 will make its debut at upcoming shows, including the Royal Highland and the Royal Welsh.
The new offset flail is the only style of its kind currently on the market, designed for regular jobs such as cutting grass and medium size brash. The completely offset flail prevents the tractor from running over grass before mowing, resulting in a more consistent and clean cut.
The hydraulic break back prevents breakage if the flail strikes an obstacle and a centre pivot contours the ground.
“This flail is perfect for stock farmers, arable farmers, or anyone looking for a more precise cut on the first pass,” said Simon Weaving. “This is a truly versatile piece of equipment – whatever job needs doing, the Blade 260 Offset Flail will get it done, and done to the highest standard.”
Key specifications include:
“The Blade 260 will be on show at both the Royal Highland and the Royal Welsh, and select other shows through the year,” adds Simon. “We’re proud of this flail. It’s the first of its kind. We’re excited to see the industry’s reaction.”
