For many years Takeuchi’s old 7 tonne TB175 was a favourite excavator, so the arrival of a brand new 7 tonne Takeuchi is set to make a big impact with landscape contractors.
The new TB370 is packed full of features in a stylish roomy cab. Weighing in at 7042kg with 42.4kW power output and 48.4kN of digging force the new TB370 offers powerful 7 tonnes operating performance.
With a unique design the TB370 is both powerful and compact with a roomy comfortable cab with latest jog-dial controls and colour touch screen VDU. The TB370 comes complete with standard features including full all-round LED lighting, floating dozer blade, colour VDU, auto fuel pump, lifting check valves, hydraulic hitch pipework and adjustable auxiliary flows.
For all day operating the large adjustable heated high back air-suspension seat provides maximum comfort for a whole day’s shift. The tool-free adjustable arm and elbow rests cater for different operating positions. The cab has plenty of foot room and an extended foot pedal gives operators added control.
Takeuchi’s New 7.0 tonne Excavator brings powerful excavating and in a very compact machine size with reduced tail swing, just 1480mm tail swing and only 455mm overhang at 90 degrees to the tracks. Combined with rounded corners and enhanced visibility helps minimize potential machine damage in restricted areas.
The new TB370 features a heavy-duty dozer blade, 430mm high with float facility as standard for ease of grading. The two-speed tracking automatically steps down when dozing.
The standard long arm provides a ground level reach of 6565mm and digging depth of 4085mm, alongside dump height of 4545mm and vertical dig depth 3815mm
Even the famous Takeuchi tilt-up cab is making a comeback, the unique and easy tilt-up can provides maximum service access to the control valves, hydraulic pipework and rear engine components.

The new 7 tonne Takeuchi comes Stage V ready for low emission zones. Takeuchi are now Stage V ready across the range up to 9 tonnes. With a machine in virtually every weight class including short tail, hybrid, offset, mono and 2-piece boom options there is a Takeuchi to suit every application.
