Groundleader’s main purpose is to streamline the process of quoting, scheduling, logging visits, and invoicing.
Designed by a grounds-maintenance firm in the UK, Groundleader can be accessed online. Site visits can be logged via Android or Apple iOS apps (on or offline), or even on paper forms if preferred.
Groundleader offers a choice of scheduling methods for different situations and tasks (“appointment”, “fixed-date”, “auto-adjust”, “days-between”), which all work together as one flexible, robust solution.
You can add as many users as you like, for no additional charge, which means everyone in your organisation can access the system, anytime, anywhere.
Subcontractors can also access Groundleader, to view their schedules and log work. The system can generate subcontractor valuation reports, to help you calculate payments due.
Your customers can be given login access, to view schedule updates, quotes and invoices. They can also view visit evidence, if required, such as site photos or signatures.
Groundleader’s “Lone-worker alarm” helps keep employees safe. Your staff ‘check in’ at intervals throughout the shift by interacting with the app (e.g. by logging a visit). If they fail to do so before their timer runs out, Groundleader places an automated alert phone call, and email, showing the employee’s last known location.
There is a similar “shift-start” feature, where if staff fail to “clock on”, the system generates automated alarm phone-calls to warn colleagues that they’ve slept in (particularly handy for gritting shifts in the middle of the night).
