Agria UK, represented by Wiedenmann UK dealers, have started to demo an all-electric mowing option.
The agria 9700e, an all-electric tool carrier, is the perfect option for a Muthing Flail.
Operating as a base unit with as much power as a 30 hp tractor, the 9700e lets you attach mowing decks, flail decks or other accessories using a CAT 1 standard 3-point linkage.
Andy Kerr, lead demonstrator for both Agria UK and Wiedenmann UK, said: “PTO driven implements which weigh less than 300 kg potentially can be powered by the 9700e. In October, we did our first handful of run outs in three Scottish cities with a Muthing Flail on the agria and it was remarkable. Literally, we were on steep banks, and it was doing a fine job.
“I use a handheld control pad so can stand up to 100 m away, While the demos were all on hillsides, it works equally well on the flat. Some of the Council teams who came to watch said it would make a huge difference to awkward areas they need to manage… grassy inclines, verge cutting on busy roads, and work around quiet areas like hospitals and schools. Both its H&S credentials and the fact that it carries almost a full working day’s charge were important considerations.”
The agria 9700 e is available from Agria UK operating through a network of stocking dealers across the UK and Ireland, supported by Wiedenmann UK.
