BOSS ORV awarded Paxster sole UK and Ireland distribution

Nordic electric compact vehicle manufacturer Paxster has awarded specialist vehicle distributor BOSS ORV sole UK and Ireland distribution.

There is a range of electric vehicles which includes the eCompact and larger payload eStretch. Initially, BOSS will launch the Paxster eCompact and eStretch all electric utility vehicles at the LAMMA agricultural show, followed by the appointment of Paxster dealers throughout the country.

A more compact, agile utility vehicle, the single seat Paxster Utility vehicles are described as engineered for hard work and practicality. Thanks to the narrow-body design, the Paxster Utility is highly manoeuvrable and ideal for navigating tight spaces and hard-to-reach areas. It is said to excel on surfaces like asphalt, gravel and grass and while not a 4x4 its RWD system with optimal weight distribution offers superior traction for most everyday applications.

Paxster vehicles are proven performers with Nordic and European postal services and the eCompact boasts over 85 million kilometres of testing and work in the harshest conditions with nearly 5000 units already in operation. With its ample cargo space, robust chassis and a 240kg payload capacity, it is suited to an exceptionally wide range of applications. The semi-open cabin shields the driver from the elements while allowing easy access and exit. The eStretch offers a larger payload of 400kg.

“We are more than pleased to have the opportunity to distribute these very strong and incredibly versatile vehicles,” said BOSS ORV MD Phil Everett. “They are built in Norway to superior standards for all conditions and are the perfect fit for all types of local, urban and country businesses and logistics. You get on-road finesse with off-road toughness and we welcome enquiries from any dealers interested in a niche electric vehicle with unlimited possibilities.” Aleksander Safvenbon, CEO of Paxster A.S. said “we are delighted to appoint BOSS ORV as our sole distributor for these regions. We have been looking for a partner with expertise in building a utility vehicle dealer network and BOSS ORV fits the brief perfectly. We are looking forward to working with Phil Everett and the team at BOSS ORV during the coming years.”

At the core of the eCompact is a large 10kW LiFePo4 battery, powering sustained performance and reliability. The battery has a 7-year warranty. There is enough power to not only charge re-chargeable battery tools in the field, but also run equipment such as portable welders and jet washers with up to 3kW of auxiliary power available. Street legal and featuring an ultra-small turning radius, the eCompact is easy to drive with intuitive controls, excellent seat comfort and a compact, narrow design to take it into places few other delivery and working vehicles can reach. The Paxster Utility range will be shown for the first time in the UK on the BOSS stand at 6.920 in Hall 6 at LAMMA.
