Help shape the future of sports turf apprenticeships

The Sports Turf Trailblazer Group is seeking your input on a proposed Level 5 Sports Turf Technical Manager Apprenticeship.

Recognising the responsibilities and expertise required of a sports turf manager, the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IFATE) has identified the potential need for a progression pathway to a Level 5 apprenticeship qualification in sports turf.

To define the knowledge and skills that are essential for a Level 5 sports turf manager, a survey has been launched to gather feedback from individuals within the industry.

If you are involved in sports turf, work as a sports turf operative (e.g., grounds staff or groundskeepers), or manage sports turf for activities played on predominantly natural grass surfaces, we encourage you to share your views.

Your feedback is vital to shaping the future of education and training for advanced sports turf apprenticeships. Please take part in the survey and help us refine the pathway for aspiring technical managers in this field.

Closing date: Friday 20 December 2024.
