The Green Flag Award UK Best of the Best Awards will be held virtually on 20 November 2025, celebrating the amazing staff, volunteers, and projects that make our parks so special.
This year, there is a new category - Best Love Parks Week event.
The nomination forms have already been sent out and the deadline for submissions being 5pm on 24 September.
Nominations are open for a park, a colleague, or a project in any of the following categories:
People Categories
- Team of the Year (Park Staff)
- Volunteer Team of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year (under 18 on 30 September 2025)
- Outstanding Contribution by an Elected Member (Councillor)
Project Categories
- Best Climate Adaptation Project
- Best Initiative to Engage and Increase Use of Parks by Women and Girls
- Best Habitat / Biodiversity Project
- Best Promotion of Heritage Value
- Best Love Parks Week Event
