Manufacturer of garden care machinery and equipment, STIGA, announces the launch of its new antenna-free feature, a highly accurate navigation system that enhances the performance of its robot mowers.
The feature will be available at no additional cost on all new installations of STIGA autonomous robot mowers.
This latest innovation further strengthens STIGA’s commitment to continuous product improvement and technology upgrades, making STIGA one of the few companies in the industry to provide such a significant product update completely free of charge.
Easily activated via the STIGA.GO App, Antenna-FREE is a premium network service that provides highly accurate navigation using GPS-RTK technology, without the need for a separate reference station or pairing with the base charging station antenna. Both installers and end-users benefit from quicker setup times, greater flexibility in base placement, advanced performance, and the high precision standards that STIGA guarantees.
All new installations of STIGA autonomous robot mowers will include the Antenna-FREE feature as an optional service. It is provided free of charge for the first 10 years from activation, after which an annual fee of £9.99 will apply. In case of withdrawal, perimeter registration will need to be repeated.
With this initiative, STIGA reinforces its position as a forward-thinking player in the garden care sector.
The antenna-free feature offers both dealers and customers tangible proof of the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, while also laying the groundwork for future developments in autonomous mowing technology.
