The medium and large woodstocks both comply to the British Standard Large Woodstock - Galvanised steel hoops, Marlow heavy duty galvanised meshed gate with integral H-frame posts, self closing gate system and RADLOCK latch system, auto catch. The heavy duty gate is stock proof in both directions.
The gate operates in two modes:
(a) As a kissing gate, (b) with release of the sliding latch by the use of a RADAR key the gate maybe opened beyond the normal closing point allowing large mobility vehicles and some path maintenance equipment to pass through.
The design inhibits the passage of motorbikes. Medium Woodstock - is the same size as the large woodstock minus the RADAR Padlock system and will only allow walkers manual wheelchairs and standard pushchairs to pass through. Pedestrian Woodstock - has smaller hoops - 1200mm and only allows access for walkers/walkers with their dogs. Stonor kissing gate - which has a smaller gate but the same hoops as the woodstock pedestrian has been developed where space is limited.
