With plans to showcase versions for ZTR Mowers, Golf Buggies, ATV/UTV and associated machinery, the Michelin and Tyre-Line collaboration will bring extensive product and technical knowledge to the UK’s premier indoor & outdoor event catering for professional groundstaff, greenkeepers, landscapers, estate managers and local authorities.
The Michelin X Tweel is a single unit that replaces the current tyre and wheel assembly. There is no need for complex mounting equipment and once they are bolted on, there is no air pressure to maintain. The unique energy transfer within the poly-resin spokes helps reduce the “bounce” associated with pneumatic tyres, while providing outstanding handling characteristics. They are designed to perform like pneumatic tyres, without the inconvenience and downtime caused by punctures and the inherent issues caused by solid or filled tyres.
With several test sets of Michelin X Tweel Turf, supplied by Tyre-Line Ltd, currently in the field for evaluation, feedback has been very positive.
With its multi-directional tread design, high performance rubber compound and an efficient contact patch, Michelin X Tweel Turf tyres are designed to give 2-3 times the wear life of the equivalent pneumatic tyre at equal tread depth and due to its no maintenance and no downtime philosophy, can save users up to 54%* on their equivalent pneumatic tyre maintenance & replacement costs over its life.
Front, castor wheels are also catered for with both smooth and rib pattern fitments, complete with an integrated metal centre hub fitted with OEM quality, sealed bearings and fitting adaptors for multiple machinery models and types.
