Kioti UK has launched the electric LM-Trac 287 into the UK, the ideal tool for your introduction to your chemical reduction or chemical free weed control programme.
Manufactured in Finland the LM-Trac has for many years been the Netherlands market leader of compact multi tool carriers.
Local authorities and Contractors use them for all day and everyday working. The work rate of these units far exceeds normal methods with minimal driver fatigue even if used for long hours.
The LM-Trac models 285/286 have been very successful and their successor, the LM-Trac 287 (introduced in 2020), continues that line unabated. Now it's time for the next step with the introduction of the environmentally friendly electric model.
During the original development of the LM-Trac 287, The R & D department of LM-Trac prepared the machine for the step towards an emission-free variant. Extra space was created for placing battery packs as efficiently as possible. This has resulted in a machine where there is a choice between one relatively compact or two battery packs.
The first variant is intended as a basis for a machine in which a fuel cell may be added as a range extender. LM-Trac continues to deliver the 287 with the very clean and economical Perkins stage 5 diesel engine.
The pre-production LM-Trac 287e will be intensively tested during 2022. The first machines will be available to purchase at the end of 2022.
The relatively light weight and practical width of the LM287 models means that the units can be used even in narrower pathways and cycle ways without damaging the infrastructure.
