McConnel will showcase its latest innovation in mowing technology at SALTEX 2024: the all-electric ROBOCUT S300e slope mower.
Developed for landscape, amenity, and groundcare professionals, this fully electric model offers an eco-friendly solution with powerful performance, zero emissions, and reduced noise.
The ROBOCUT S300e is capable of handling 55-degree slopes in any direction, with a 150m working range that enhances operator safety. Its unique bi-directional mowing system significantly boosts efficiency by eliminating the need for time-consuming headland turns. Operators can mow to the end of a row and simply track back in the opposite direction to complete the return pass.
This new model runs on two high-efficiency Vanguard 48-volt lithium batteries, providing up to 4 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. Recharging takes around 8 hours, with a fast-charge option available to reduce the time to just 4 hours.
Designed for maximum efficiency, the S300e features a 1.1m rotary mulching deck optimised for electric use. Its dual motors directly power the cutting blades, delivering superior cutting performance with less noise and greater energy efficiency.
Alongside the S300e, McConnel will also display other models from its ROBOCUT range, including the powerful T600. Equipped with a 60hp turbo diesel Hatz engine, the T600 is ideal for tackling difficult terrain, such as steep slopes and hazardous areas. It supports a wide range of attachments, including flailheads and mulching heads, capable of cutting material up to 200mm in diameter.
