Postsaver, the leading manufacturer of wood post protection products, is thrilled to announce the recipient of its Installer of the Year Award for 2024.
This year’s award goes to Henry Thompson from Thompson Timberworks, whose exceptional dedication, skill, and professionalism set a high standard in the industry.
It is the inaugural year for The Installer of the Year Award, which will be presented annually to an individual or company that demonstrates outstanding commitment to quality, customer service, and innovation in the installation of Postsaver products.
Henry’s work stood out among a high standard of nominees, impressing the judges with his exemplary workmanship, consistent customer satisfaction, and proactive approach to adopting and promoting best practices.
Thompson Timberworks has been a valued partner of Postsaver since 2021, during which time they have successfully installed hundreds of protected posts to their bespoke wooden installations, ensuring longevity and durability for their customers.

In addition to the title, Henry will receive a £500 holiday voucher to enjoy a well-earned rest from his family run joinery business. “I am delighted to receive this award,” said Henry. “I put a huge amount of time and effort in bringing my customer’s projects to life. Knowing they’re built and supported with the most solid foundations gives both me and my customer’s satisfaction. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Postsaver on my future installations.”
Postsaver has also recognised Paul Nichols of PN Fencing and Maslin Jones as close contenders for the coveted title, with both sharing examples of outstanding work in the fencing industry. As a result, they will receive a high street voucher and Greggs Vouchers.
